My Summer Essentials

My Summer Essentials

I can’t believe summer is finally here! After having rain almost every. single. day for the last month, I am welcoming the warm weather with open arms. July and August in Oklahoma can be miserable, though! Hello humidity and triple digit temperatures. I wanted to share the things that help get me through!

  1. Cold Brew Coffee Maker - I mentioned in my 20 Things About Me that I love Starbucks iced coffee. But, we all know how expensive it can get if you go every day! This coffee maker is the easiest way to save money. You can use any course ground coffee, but I prefer Starbucks Breakfast blend!

  2. Starbucks Recycled Glass Cold Cup- This is my favorite travel cup for my iced coffee! It’s made of heavy glass, And it looks so pretty on my desk.

  3. Amika the Shield Humidity Spray- This stuff is amazing! I curl my hair every day, and by the time I get to work, it’s already flat and lifeless. I spray this right after I’m done curling, and then spray with hairspray and I’m good to go!

  4. Grill Pizza Pan- I love this thing! Now that it’s grilling season, I needed to figure out how to grill some pizza! It’s great for pizzas (obviously), but it’s also a great for grilling vegetables! The handle folds up and makes it easy to store during the cold months.

  5. Cusinart Ice Cream Maker- is there anything better than ice cream on a hot day? If making ice cream from scratch is scary to you, don’t be afraid! This ice cream maker does all the work for you- just combine the ingredients in the frozen bowl, let it churn for 25-30 minutes, and you’re done! It tastes so much better than store bought. Pro tip- check Facebook marketplace for one of these! There are so many listed for sale, and usually you can find a great deal.
